American Soldiers

The most powerful image in from the slideshow is the photo with a bunch of soldiers sitting next to the broken car and sitting inside it for their first assignment. It shows the hardship they're fight for to protect our country. They're very tired because of the sleepless night they had during that specific mission.

The sequence of the photos where the soldiers coming home and see their family for being out in the sea in a long period of time. It show the scarifices that people did by letting their most beloved one go to the army. How happy and joyful it is to see that person that you love in many years. For them to serve in the army to protect us all.

These images work really well by telling a story. It basicly tell lives of those who leave their family to go join the army and how much hardship they're been through. Starting from goodbyes, going to somewhere new, being trained for days, go out and be in a real field, from back to saying hello. The photos simply tell emotions throughout the photos by capturing the faces and scene of the story.

The verbs are explained as if it was happening right now, present tensed.

The captions describes the photo like it's happening right now as we are looking at it. It was like Ian's life happening right now and we are in it to experience it. The photos show step by step how he did in the army.

Saergant wraps Ian's injured leg carefully as it rest on his knee.
Ian lined up with other recruits right outside of the army entrance.
Ian wrestle his dad at his own Bar-B-Q party that was helded for him returning from the military.

These other features makes it easier to access these photo in squence. By going next or previous, we can follow the photos like a story line, making it easier to understand the concept of the story. If there were none of this feature and just a compile of photos, We wouldn't know anything of the story or which event photos that comes first.

Videos show deep thoughts of the character that's being taken better than photos. It also show us the true and real meanning of each story from the photos. Any of us can just look at the photos and give our own thoughts on what each photos represent.

Photos are sometimes better than videos because it leaves us thinking about differents stories the photos carry. Sometimes a photo can show the emotion of the subject by capturing their action or faces. Also, photos benifits better than videos because they don't freeze to buffer and simple photos are easier to understand then some video which inclues high level wording.
