Plans for Self-Portrait

I am planning to shoot myself or another person in this assignment, if it's possible with the time limit. I want to experiment with both. When shooting myself, maybe I will use a mirror or a tripod. When using a mirror, to me it limits the creativity since a lot of other people will be using mirror to shoot themselves. The place I choose to take these photos will be a blank background if possible, maybe white because I don't want a distracting background with people in it. I want the subject (myself) to stands out and make this self-portrait photo shoot unique. A second choice of where I will be taking these photos will be the school courtyard, if not then around trees/nature. Many self portrait photos take place outside around trees/flowers because it's original. If I take my photos with a blank background, then my lighting will be bright or dark, depending on the background color. I will have in mind the Rules of Photography including the new one that we just learn. Also, mergers and any distracting things will be void out and not be visible where I shoot my self-portrait photos.
